IMPORTANT INFO
- SAFETY - The Sweet Retreat is equipped with smoke detectors in the ceilings and a carbon monoxide detector plugged into the side of the kitchen island. In the event that an emergency should arise during your stay we have provided the items listed below.
- fire extinguisher (under the kitchen sink)
- first aid kit (under the bathroom vanity in a red case)
- YOUTUBE TV - check out info on this on the laminated "Roku & YouTubeTV Instruction Guide" on the coffee table. YouTubeTV service offers live TV programming comparable to Cable TV, and provides all the local and national channels you'll want during your stay! For the most up-to-date YouTubeTV channel offerings, click HERE!
- ROKU STREAMING SERVICES - Both TVs are equipped with a Roku device to access all your onscreen entertainment including YouTubeTV and streaming service apps. Complimentary access to HBO Now, Disney+, The Roku Channel and PBS Kids is provided for your enjoyment. You are welcome to log-in to your personal accounts for other streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime...just don’t forget to log out when you leave. For complete instructions on how to use the Roku TV, check out the guest welcome book located on the kitchen island.
- GAMES & ENTERTAINMENT - If streaming services aren't your jam, we have a large library of games, puzzles, playing cards and books stored inside the cabinet in the living room.
- LAUNDRY - feel free to use the washer and dryer as needed during your stay. We have provided detergent, fabric softener, bleach and dryer sheets for your use. Let us know if you have questions or need assistance with the machines.
- HOUSEKEEPING - Daily housekeeping is not provided during your stay. Should you happen to need more of something during a longer stay, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to provide it depending on our housekeeper's schedule.
- TRASH - If you need to empty the trash during your stay, you MUST put it in the steel "bear bin" in the driveway. The key is on the hook next to the door, please lock it back when you are done. If your trash exceeds the two full-size cans in the bear bin, there are Brookstone Village dumpsters at the bottom of the hill in the pool area that you can discard bags. Due to the presence of bears in the area, you cannot leave trash on the front porch or stacked on top of the bear bin. Thank you.
- KITCHEN SUPPLIES - We have provided many kitchen items in the hopes of accommodating any meals that you might want to prepare during your stay. If there are any utensils or items that you might need that are not already provided please let us know so we can add them for future guests!
- COFFEE & TEA - We provide a Keurig coffee maker with K-cups for our guests to use as well as powdered creamer & sugar. Should you prefer to brew a pot of coffee or use a french press, we provide both of those as well, along with a bean grinder and coffee filters in the cabinet below the Keurig machine. We do not provide coffee beans or bags of ground coffee so you will need to provide your own coffee if you choose to not use the K-cups. A selection of teas are provided, and are also stored in the cabinet below the coffee station.
